5 Days for the Homeless
THE CAMPAIGN
5 Days for the Homeless is a charity campaign founded in 2005 by students from the University of Alberta. It is a five day campaign during which university students live like the “homeless” on campus to raise money and awareness for a local charity. The event will be held between March 13th and March 18th, 2011 at the Roddick Gates entrance to the McGill downtown campus.

OUR LOCAL CHARITY
“Le Bon Dieu dans la rue - or Dans la rue as our organization is more commonly known - has been a leader in working with Montréal street kids since its creation in 1988 by Father Emmett “Pops” Johns.
Dans la rue is a safe place for these kids to go and a place for them to grow. They can find resources that have been tailored to their individual circumstances. But above all, they can draw on an unending source of respect, friendship and encouragement.”
